1. WHO ARE YOU?
When this Personal Data Protection Policy refers to "you," it is simply because it relates directly to you and concerns you as a Selenna Studio customer if you have placed an order on the Selenna Studio website, as a Selenna Studio customer if you have created a customer account but have not ordered any products or services, or as a visitor if you have browsed the Selenna Studio website without creating a customer account or placing an order.
3. WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?
3.1. When do we collect your personal data?
Your personal data may be collected through cookies when you visit the Selenna Studio website, when you create a customer account on the Selenna Studio website, when you order one of our products or services, or when you agree to subscribe to our newsletters (text message, email).

3.4. Installment payments
For orders eligible for installment payments, and for certain customers, your data is processed so that we can offer you this payment option. The performance of the contract between the two parties is the legal basis for this processing. However, your consent remains the basis for processing your banking information.
3.4.1 Klarna
In order to offer you Klarna's payment options, we may need to share your personal data with Klarna, including your contact information and order details, so that Klarna can assess whether you qualify for these options and tailor them to your needs. Personal data shared with Klarna will be processed in accordance with Klarna's privacy policy.
3.5. Customer reviews
To share your reviews with our customers and visitors, and to allow you to leave a review on the Selenna Studio website, we use your data on the legal basis of your consent or our legitimate interest.
3.6. Payment collection and fraud prevention
We use your data to collect payments and prevent fraud.
This also allows us to ensure payment security.
The performance of the contract between the two parties, as well as the legitimate interest of Selenna Studio as data controller, are the legal bases for this processing.
3.7. Selenna Studio advertising agency operations
The operations of Selenna Studio's advertising agency are managed using your data.
This allows us to expand our customer and prospect data; handle maintenance and technical activities related to prospects; produce sales statistics and advertising campaign studies; update our prospecting lists against the National Do Not Call Registry; manage requests; and organize contests, sweepstakes, or any other promotional operations, excluding online gambling.
The legal bases for the activities listed above are the user's consent or the legitimate interest of Selenna Studio.
4. WHERE DOES YOUR DATA GO?
Your data is shared with various internal Selenna Studio departments.
It is not shared with third parties, except in the situations described below:
To process your orders, your personal data may be shared with various service providers specializing in banking transactions, customer relations, after-sales service, delivery, IT development, website management, or warranties and insurance.
To enable installment payments, your data may be shared with providers such as payment and transaction processors (banks, etc.) or call centers that manage business processes or customer experience, and, for customer reviews, with a provider that collects and processes reviews.
Selenna Studio's advertising agency, for its part, is operated using your data by agency clients and advertisers.
5. DATA RETENTION
Data collected by Selenna Studio is retained only for as long as, and to the extent, necessary to set up and carry out the operations described in Section 3 of our personal data policy.
Some data collected by Selenna Studio is retained for a specific period.
For prospects, data is kept in active records for 3 years from the last contact with the customer (and may therefore be accessed by Selenna Studio departments). We do not keep intermediate archives of this data (for data that is of administrative interest to certain departments, such as in the case of disputes, retention periods are set according to the applicable statutes of limitations).
For orders, your data is kept in active records for 5 years from the end of the customer's order activity, and in intermediate archives for 5 years after active retention ends. The same applies to customers.
Banking data is kept in active records for the full validity period of the bank card (plus one day). No intermediate archiving of banking data is carried out.

6. EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS
6.1. You have the right to request access to, modification of, and correction of your Data.
6.2. You have the right to request that the processing of your Data be restricted.
Important: To do so, you must dispute the accuracy of your personal data for the time needed for us to verify it; or believe that our use of your personal data is unlawful and request that its use be restricted rather than deleted; or we no longer need your data for the purposes described in Section 3, but your data is still needed to establish, exercise, or defend your legal claims; or you have exercised your right to object, for the time needed to verify whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
6.3. You have the right to request the deletion of your Data.
If you request the deletion of your personal data, Selenna Studio may nevertheless keep it in intermediate archives for as long as necessary to meet its legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
6.4. You have the right to object to processing carried out for marketing purposes.
For email marketing, you can update your preferences or unsubscribe from our newsletters by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in every newsletter, or by going directly to the contact page of the Selenna Studio website.
For text message marketing, you can unsubscribe by replying STOP to any of our messages, or by going to the contact page of the Selenna Studio website.
6.5. You have the right to provide instructions regarding the retention, deletion, and disclosure of your personal data after your death.
In the absence of such instructions, your heirs and successors may contact Selenna Studio to access information on how this data is used in order to settle the deceased's estate, and/or close the account on the website, and/or request that the processing of personal data stop.
You may also request that your data not be disclosed to third parties in the event of your death.
6.6. You have the right to data portability.

Important: Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We will respond within one (1) month of receiving your request.

Regarding our advertising agency, as mentioned above, please note that all of our advertising spaces may contain third-party cookies (from the advertiser behind the ad shown, the advertiser's third-party providers, etc.).
